A+ Information

What is the A+ Program?

King City High School participates in the Missouri A+ Program that is a merit-based scholarship that provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates who attend participating public community colleges or vocational/technical schools, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools.

Benefits of the A+ Program

Assuming state funds are available, students will receive reimbursement for the unpaid balance of the cost of tuition to attend a Missouri public community college or vocational/technical school, after federal post-secondary financial assistance funds have been applied. Funds to pay these tuition incentives will be paid by the State of Missouri, PROVIDED state funds are appropriated by the Missouri General Assembly. There a few colleges and universities who offer competitive scholarships for students earn A+ status. Students are able to use their A+ status for four years after graduating.
