Volunteer Information
October 23, 2019
Parent volunteers are a tremendous resource to each of our schools and district-wide. We sincerely appreciate our Wildkat Volunteers and all they do to help support the staff and students. Volunteering not only helps the school district, but it helps volunteers and their students as well.
When you volunteer you:
Set an example for students about giving back
Get to know more teachers, administrators and other parents
Get a better understanding of your child’s daily schedule and activities
Research shows that involving families in schools leads to increased student achievement.
We are looking for parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers, family friends or anyone with an interest in volunteering at our schools. If you are interested and want more information about becoming a volunteer, please contact the appropriate building principal at 660-535-4319 or you can email the appropriate building principal. For the Elementary Principal please email Ryan Anderson at ryananderson@kingcityschools.org. For the High School, please email dottiestoll@kingcityschools.org
In order to keep our children safe, all volunteers must go through a screening process. To start the process of volunteering, please click the links below to the Volunteer Rules, Volunteer Screening Process, and Volunteer Application. Volunteers are important to the success of the King City R-I School District, and we greatly appreciate the service to our school.
